Nine.

With nine days left before the venture to France, I still have several little things needing to be done. Some of the majors include getting packed, practicing an earlier bed time (to void off jet lag), and walking as much as possible! Oh and life without a phone... that's a biggie. With our final French studies meeting last night, it really put things into perspective, that in a little over a week, I will in the most beautiful city in the world, or what is said to be at least. I am filled with excitement and nerves as the day veers closer and closer. It'll be here before I know it!

And the countdown begins...

With less than 20 days to go, it's hard to believe that within just a few short weeks, I will be walking the streets of the city I have always dreamed of visiting, Paris. After completing three years of French class, I am excited to take the next big step into French culture by visiting the country itself. Preparing for this trip has taken some time, between ordering Euros, completing pre-assignments, and finding a suitcase large enough, yet appropriate, to fit my wardrobe (probably the biggest challenge thus far), but as the days go by, I become more and more anxious. It'll be a great experience, and by doing this blog, I hope to share those experiences, as much as possible, so you too, can follow me on my journey over seas.
